How Videfend processes submitted video content
Videfend is a short-form video analysis service. When you upload a video or submit a supported public URL, the service temporarily processes that content to extract frames, classify them, and return an authenticity signal.

What we collect
Depending on how you use the service, Videfend may process the uploaded video file, submitted source URL, extracted video frames, analysis results, IP address, request headers, and temporary technical logs needed to operate the service.
Why we collect it
We use the submitted content only to run video analysis, generate frame-level results, return playback and review data to the user, protect the service from abuse, and troubleshoot service issues.
How processing works
Submitted videos are processed inside our hosted application environment. Extracted frames may be analyzed using specialized inference service providers that support the classification pipeline. If you submit a public URL, the service may first retrieve the video from the source platform before analysis.
Retention
Videfend does not currently provide long-term account storage for submitted videos. Videos, extracted frames, and job data are retained only temporarily to support analysis and review. Successful jobs are currently retained for a short review window, and failed jobs are retained for a shorter troubleshooting window, after which temporary files are deleted.
Cookies
The application itself does not currently use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or account session cookies. Infrastructure providers may still process technical request data such as IP addresses, security logs, or platform telemetry needed to host and secure the service.
Your responsibilities
You should only submit content you have the right to upload or analyze. Do not submit confidential, unlawful, or unauthorized material. By using the service, you confirm that you are permitted to provide the content for processing.
