These terms set the baseline rules for using Videfend. The service is an early-stage analysis tool and should be treated as decision support, not as a final legal or forensic conclusion.

Right to submit content

You may only upload files or submit URLs for content that you own, control, or are otherwise authorized to analyze. You are responsible for making sure your submission does not violate privacy, confidentiality, copyright, platform rules, or applicable law.

Prohibited use

  • Do not submit illegal, abusive, or exploitative content.
  • Do not submit confidential or highly sensitive material unless you are clearly authorized to do so.
  • Do not use the service to probe, overload, scrape, or abuse the platform.
  • Do not rely on the tool as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.

Service limitations

Videfend is a detection aid. Results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconclusive. Analysis outputs should be reviewed by a human and, where appropriate, combined with additional evidence, source verification, or expert review.

Availability

The service may change, be rate limited, become unavailable, or reject content that exceeds current technical limits such as supported formats, file size, or maximum duration.

Privacy and processing

Use of the service is also subject to the Privacy page, which explains temporary storage, specialized inference services, and infrastructure handling of request data.
